Today we speak to Farah Kabir and Sarah Welsh, Co-Founders of HANX . The first Condom brand designed by Women, for Women in mind.
HANX has already been featured in Marie Claire, The Guardian, Stylist & other publications - and it’s being recognised for smashing the stigma!
“We wanted to make condoms that we would be proud to buy, use and have in our bags and bathrooms. Ones that are natural. That smell nice. With beautiful packaging. Premium but discrete. Condoms that everyone would be happy to be seen with.”
Farah was an investment banker & Sarah was a gynaecology doctor, they both decided to quit their job a year ago and since then they have been launching HANX.
We discuss how they came up with the idea of the brand & the name HANX -
“We both used to call it Hanky Panky, so thought let’s shorten that to HANX”
The challenges of starting a business, the research and development stage to bringing the idea to life.
We then discuss exciting plans for 2018 with the hint of new products & taking the brand to different countries in Europe and the US.
HANX is a startup to follow, they have built a brand that is addressing an issue in cultures across the world and are currently the only brand doing this in Europe.

Savannah de Savary, is one of the most influential PropTech founder. Savannah talks about her journey to
Built-ID, an online platform and professional community that connects real estate developers with consultants. As one of the few prominent women in the PropTech world, she shared her views with us on women in PropTech.

It’s where potential clients, investors and occupiers are directed to when they find you, where they can message you and are kept abreast of your future work.
Savannah is working in a real niche area of technology startups, and is trying to influence other girls to explore this industry even further.

Throughout 2018 Built ID have reached critical mass, whereby leading consultants in the industry are members of built ID, they are now going to start rolling out their community engagement tool.

Valerie Stark is an entrepreneur and business women making her mark in the Digital Economy.
She is best known as the co-founder and CEO of the mobile app Huggle. Stark is also a board member at Bumble and working closely with Badoo.
Inspired by her personal experiences of moving from Moscow to London, Valerie Stark invented a totally safe way to meet people, that takes more into account than initial physical attraction.
Valerie provides insight into her research for Huggle, her ideas around creating the app and gives great advice around investment for a startup.

Viola is an indvidual who broke free and overcame barriers to educate herself and work hard.
Her story highlights the turbulent experiences of a childhood punctuated by her father’s early death, migration then civil war. Further migration and cultural upheaval limited her opportunity of growing up in a stable Lebanese family environment when, as a teenager, she was again parachuted, migration style, into the vibrant, colourful, yet unfamiliar South American culture of Venezuela.
Viola is an International Multi Award winning psychotherapist and breathwork specialist, recently winning the Inspirational Women of the Year Award. She is the author of two published books, “Who Makes the Bed” and “Breathing the Rhythm of Success”.
Viola has appeared on a number of TV and radio shows across the world, including the Chrissy B Show in the UK and La Vida es Hoy in Venezuela
In the last 25 years, Viola has spoken across many global platforms as a keynote speaker and most recently Thomson Reuters in Cyprus

We speak to David Hellard today about his growing passion for running & turning his interest into something very exciting.
He is self-confessed sportsman, London born and all round energetic indvidual.
He has developed a product called Caffeine Bullet which is used for any situation where you need energy not just for running Marathons.
He has created a unique marketing technique, where he is going to hand deliver 500 samples of his product by running to each address.
The passion and charisma from David is infectious, he had a starring role in the BBC2 series “Special Forces – Ultimate Hell Week”.
